Solution Technologies (Pty) Limited was founded in Randburg in 1988, and has been providing audio visual products and services throughout Southern Africa for 23 years.
We offer a comprehensive range of exciting E-Learning educational hardware including interactive whiteboards, finger touch monitors, visualizers, audience response systems and specialized short throw and standard data video projectors designed specifically for the education market. Many of our products are supplied with both educational pricing and extended warranties, all designed to give you peace of mind.
To compliment the educational hardware offerings we provide educational software from Easiteach and other software houses.
Of primary importance is our track record of providing many schools, universities and colleges with cost effective interactive technology – which works.
Product Line Up
Throughout the years our directors and staff have undertaken study and business trips to all parts of the world to bring you the latest developments in this very fast moving industry. This has enabled us to link up with overseas suppliers of the finest equipment, and brand names like Epson, InFocus, Hitachi, Teamboard, Mimio, Elmo, Maths Matters, Easiteach, Wizteach, Vision, SP Controls, JK Screens and Anchor form part of our product range. These products are world leaders in their own right and are renowned for their quality and performance at reasonable prices.
Technical Support & Backup
When making an investment in interactive products, backup and support are the key. We are constantly in touch with our manufacturers and strive to give you the best and most cost effective maintenance and support. We have been appointed the authorised repair centre for each of our suppliers and maintain appropriate levels of spares and accessories for all the products we distribute. In addition we have installation teams who provide high quality installation of products in schools and universities.
To further our ability to service our customers we opened a branch office in Cape Town during 1998 thereby giving our national customers direct access to our full range of services in the Western Cape, whilst our customers in Kwa-Zulu Natal are serviced directly from our Johannesburg offices.
Educational Bodies
Solution Technologies is a member of the ADESSA organisation. Formed in 2003, the Associated Distributors of Educational Supplies in Southern Africa, is a body representing educational suppliers in their dealings with government departments, educational institutions and other interested parties. It is an independent organisation, and is funded by subscriptions from member companies.
Our annual visits to BETT in the UK and InFocomm in Amsterdam and the USA keeps us up to date with the changing trends and needs in education .Our staff welcome the opportunity to pass this valuable knowledge to our many customers which we do by school visits, open days and conferences . BEE Profile
The company has embraced the spirit of the BEE initiative and the requirements of the latest DTI guidelines. The company is 25,1% BEE owned and has a BEE director on the main board.
